It is time both to lay things down
and time to reach.
It is time to leap
and time to listen.
It is time to tap in,
to dig deep,
to commit to what we have said
we wish to see
become real.
It is time to let go and to hold on.
It is time for blue sky
and soft sunlight
to encourage us into emergence.
We take our place
in the rhythm of belonging.
We lean in.
We embody what we know.
We let life carry us
into the blooming.

Life’s Bits and Pieces:
Thinking about:
my to-do list for the soul for April. (I use a transcription app to move my daily poem writing from handwritten into typed. Since the app is intended for business meetings and not poetry, sometimes it makes me an "action items" list from my day's "meeting." On the first day, I wrote an ode to April and this was the to-do list that was generated for me.)
Reading:
to self: Coming Home. This is a romance novel written by a local author, Jessica Lane. About a woman who returns to her small home town after her husband dies. She has three children and moves in with her grandmother. Old high school romance begins to rekindle with the local sheriff. I like how it addresses issues of grief and motherhood, instead of just being “only” romance.
to kids: Rogue Knight. Book two in the Five Kingdoms series.

New Beginnings and Preparing to Fly:
Reminder: It is okay to reach for more. May you walk right into the magic all around you and find yourself at home.
Journal prompts for the week:
How are you cracking open?
How can you root down into clarity and trust?
What are you reaching for?
How can you nourish yourself as you prepare to bloom?
Affirmations for this week:
My attention is my most precious magic.
It's okay to reach for more.
I root down and reach up.
I walk right into the magic that surrounds me.
I am cracked open, preparing to fly.
I root into clarity. I root into trust.
We extend to touch the sacred
in the every day.
We recenter ourselves
into both purpose and belonging.
We commit to our own lives unfolding,
to witnessing,
to wondering,
to coming home.
We blow kisses to the wide sky.
We feel solid earth beneath our feet.
We pause to remember.
We walk in the palm
of her hand.
