Between Times

Oracle OOAK Goddesses + this week's ritual video and notes of the week

Once again,
reach out to unlock the door.
Put your promises into practice.
Give yourself permission to live it all,
to allow what you yearn for
to become real.
Let this sense of knowing
continue to both invite you
and lead you.
Each day,
reach out to touch the sacred,
if not the whole,
at least a wisp.
Let this life itself
be an oracle,
a wisdom teacher,
a guide.

This week's shop update features some fun “Oracle” themed one of a kind goddesses in many assorted colors, wearing tarot card belts.

Life’s Bits and Pieces:

And, so,
we begin to understand
that this is the journey
of the soul,
to descend
downward
and inward
and homeward
until we can greet
our own selves
arriving
with joy.

  • Thinking these thoughts: It is okay to feel weary, to feel tired and uncertain. We are existing against a backdrop of national unease, while still striving to do our work, and share our art, and care for our families, and do what good we can. It takes a toll to keep going and to keep offering kindness and love, when the overall atmosphere is so fraught with distress.

  • Reading:

    • to self: We Hunt the Flame. YA fantasy inspired by Arabian mythology. Still enjoying it, though I took a brief break to finish up The Spellshop.

    • to self: also almost finished with Awakening Artemis.

    • to kids: Crystal Keepers. Book three in the Five Kingdoms series.

  • Listening to:

    • The Library at Mount Char: Someone recommended this one recently and I was happy to see it was immediately available on audiobook at the library (Libby app for the win yet again!). Anyway, it is nothing like I expected and I’m not sure I’m going to keep listening to it. It is also FIFTEEN HOURS LONG. It is very interesting and creative, but I was expecting a whimsical magical library tale and it is very dark and creepy instead and has lots of murder and abuse and I’m only on chapter two. (One of the problems with digital library resource checkouts is that it isn’t easy to read the back of the book and choose whether it is interesting to you, you have to go in kind of blind unless you click all around trying to find the details section, etc. and I am too ADHD for that most of the time.)

  • Looking forward to:

    • Simple and Sacred online circle tonight (if you’re on our #30DaysofGoddess email list, feel free to join in!)

    • Lann’s graduation! It is tomorrow!

Between Times and Holding Space

Reminder: The moment of longing is a doorway, not a problem. Times of uncertainty, transition, or feeling lost are not signs of failure, but invitations to connection and presence. May we trust these in-between spaces, view them as sacred thresholds, and recognize that what feels like confusion can actually be an opportunity for personal growth and deeper self-understanding. Let us embrace life's transitions with compassion and openness, rather than resisting or judging them.

Questions to consider:

  • In between...

  • What is asking to be held?

  • What kind of rest do I need?

  • What is one step that would lead me closer?

  • In the absence of okay, what can I be?

Affirmations for this week:

  • I honor the between times in my life.

  • I listen to the between times in my life.

  • I nourish myself.

  • I know what kind of nourishment I need.

  • I am whole, I am enough, I am magic.

Companion post and cards for Goddess Magic patrons.

Each day you are invited
into a ritual of belonging,
a ceremony composed
of wind and sky,
of earth and tree,
of skin and stone.
Arrive where you are.
Settle your feet
onto the land.
Set down your worries and your fears.
Open your hands to this moment.
Cast a circle with your breath.
Offer a prayer into the wind.
Tune your heart to the rhythm of the earth.
Inhabit the sacred unfolding.
Allow yourself to receive a blessing
of renewal
from the fabric
of your own life.

Much love,

Molly, Mark, + Family
